It all started on a horror film…

Stagg Forrest Films is equally owned and run by Kate Forrest and Myrthin Stagg. After meeting on set 13 years ago (on a VERY low-budget horror film) they became instant friends. After 11 years of friendship and working on multiple projects together, they decided to start their own company. With a combined passion for storytelling and a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry, Myrthin and Kate are committed to creating engaging and thought-provoking films that resonate with audiences worldwide.

Myrthin Stagg, a multi-talented writer, producer, and actor, has been featured in popular TV shows such as Star Trek Discovery, HBO's Station Eleven, and Netflix's upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger project. Her creative vision and versatile skills bring a unique perspective to Stagg Forrest Films' projects.

Kate Forrest brings a decade of industry expertise as a producer, AD, and production coordinator for large-scale commercials, films, and TV shows. Her meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess ensure smooth and successful productions.

Their film debut, “Play It Again”, premiered at the prestigious Austin International Film Festival in 2021 and won the coveted jury award for "Best Narrative Short", making it Academy Qualifying for the 2022 Oscars.

Currently, Stagg Forrest Films has three film projects in post-production, one on the festival circuit and two in development.

Their film “STUCK” will be making it’s premiere at the famous TLC Chinese Theatre in LA this June, as part of the Dances With Films Festival.
